This group is recognised by ICCR, Spicmacay, Government of Rajasthan and Ministry of Culture. It had got the privilege to travel extensively and to perform at the most prestigious stages around the world including Royal Albert Hall, London; Opera House,Sydney; Town Hall Symphony, New York; Lincoln Centre, Washington; Theatre du Zingaro, Paris.

Khete Khan ,the most enterprising of all in Hamira family is responsible for promoting the manganiyar tradition by starting the institute by the name of Manginyar Lok Sangeet Sansthan which aims to support the talented children from the community by educating them through workshops and training them by the masters since 2000. Besides that he has got the privilege to perform as an accompanist to Pt.Ravi Shankar,Ustad Ali Akbar Khan,Ustad Zakir Hussain,Pt.Shiv Kumar Sharma, Shri Hari Prasad Chaurasiya,Pt.Vishav Mohan Bhatt,Ustad sultan Khan and many other renowned names in Indian Classical Music.

Sangeet Natak Akademi has awarded "Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar" to Khete Khan manganiyar for unmatched talent in the field of traditional folk music of Rajasthan.
